Robby is from Germany and Laura from England, they met in Australia and they fell in love, not only with each other but also with Australia. Their story is just beautiful and they way they tell it, bouncing off of each other, is even more beautiful.
They decided to do everything backwards, in the way that they had their wedding rings made first, then decided to get married here in Australia. In a few years time, Robby has decided he will then purchase and engagement ring, and perhaps have a second wedding back over in Europe. In this day and age though - why not!
We spoke about all sorts of different styles of wedding rings but from day one, we were all on the same page about the fact that they both wanted something floral. Lots of different types of florals were discussed but we had a chat and I suggested that if they're going to get their rings handmade, they might as well be specific. So, Robby did some research and decided on some flowers that really meant something to their relationship and we went with that.
Laura had one diamond and two lovely little Australian Sapphires set into her wedding ring along with the beautiful flowers Robby had chosen, while Robby ended up with alternating hand pierced and engraved leaves on his wedding ring.

We spoke about what she would like and lucky for me, Chelsea didn't really have an exact idea about what she would like so we spoke about a few different options, played with the idea of leaving it completely plain with no diamonds but in the end, being the sparkle lover that she is, we decided diamonds are the way to go!
I made her wedding ring with the slightest little groove in it so that it would fit perfectly up against her engagement ring with no dorky gaps, but left it subtle enough so that if she wants to wear the wedding ring by itself, that it still totally an option.
I set the diamonds the same style of setting that the engagement ring had, split claws, so that the rings look like they came as a pair.
Chelsea and her lovely man were married in September 2017, in a double wedding with her sister and her now husband!

These two Opals are both Opalised shells. You can see the shape and structure and lines that all form the shape of a shell. Just incredible. It is amazing to come across shells with such colour like these, but to actually have a matching pair of them is almost unheard of.
Dawn and I had many chats over email as she had since moved on to her next destination, about how she would like the Opals to be set. After many emails back and fourth, we decided they would look stunning in White Gold, as subtle drops, with a plain design so that the main focus would remain on the actual Opals.

He approached me with the idea that he wanted everything about the ring to actually mean something. From there, he designed this stunning 1ct Emerald cut diamond ring, with small diamonds surrounding
Completely handmade in 18ct Rose Gold, this stunning ring features a 1ct Emerald cut diamond, 4 small diamonds to represent 4 children, 2 medium diamonds to represent 2 parents, 18 small diamonds around the band to represent the rest o the total value of years being married....a total of 25 diamonds for 25 years
A month or so after I completed the ring, this was the message I received from the lovely wife.
"Hi Michelle,
Maurice has taken a photo of the ring you made me taken in The Hall of Mirrors at the Palace of Versailles in Paris. It's one of the most beautiful rooms in the world. So many reflections in the room plus full of people so was hard to get a great photo.
Many people have been impressed with the ring & great job you've done. I absolutely love it.
Thanks again."
