This ridiculously amazing solid Opal is appropriatley named after the field it was mined in, Moleneux Rush, which is in Coocoran Region, approx 27km West of Lightning Ridge. It is a huge 5.2ct and it has so much life. It is super bright and almost looks like its glowing. You'll find mostly shades of green and blue in this beauty, with the occasional flash of purple. It also appears to have a darker band of colouring about halfway down the Opal, which adds to the depth of the colouring and honestly just makes the stone that much more interesting.
Handmade into solid 9ct Rose Gold bezel set ring.
This is a stunning piece, no matter what light you're in.
