This stunning Australian Opal ring is just next level. The Opal itself is a natural, solid crystal Opal from Lightning Ridge, from the Coocoran fields. It measures approx. 17.5mm x 14.5mm x 5mm thick, so it is super sturdy. When you first look at the Opal, you will see bright flashes of green, blue and purple. When you start inspecting it more closely in different lights, you will also find little bright flashes of orange throughout the Opal. This one is super impressive as no matter what light you see it in, it looks amazing, and only gets better with stronger lights.
This particular Opal is a rare, natural delight, not just due to the sheer size of it but also due to the fact that its a completley clean crystal Opal with no remnants of any sandstone or inlcusions. It is such a solid, amazing piece of Opal.
It has been double claw set into 14ct Yellow gold, so that light can hit every single part of this beautiful Opal, and bounce around within it and show it off the best it can. It is definitely a huge 'wow' Opal piece!
I've tried to add photos under all sorts of lighting so give a realistic idea of how it looks but just know, no photos of this beast do it justice! I also refuse to try and capture it in artificial lighting as my worst nightmare is capturing it too well, then feeling disappointed when it arrives because you have been dreaming over unrealistic photos. But on the flip side, that means I can guarantee you that if you love it in the photos, you will love it even more in person, under all the different lights you come across!
