As the name suggests, this solid Australian Opal has a serious glow about it. Overall, it is a pastel blue-purple Opal that doesn't look like it has much sparkle going on, but as soon as you get it in the right light (one way round more than the other) it absolutely glows in the sunshine. You'll find big, electric flashes of purple from one way round, then turn the ring around and put it back on your finger to face the other direction, and you'll see more flashes of purple, but with blue as well! This Opal also has a couple of small cotton inclusions you can see right near the surface, and a patch within the Opal that has an unusual yellowy tinge to it. Handmade into a Sterling Silver bezel set ring.
